September Update: Things are Changing

I have some news to share with you about what's been happening with me over the past six weeks or so. I've had what I have learned is called a "Long COVID Crash". My body and mind have given me a clear signal to stop and rest in order to recover.

To that end, I cancelled my 6 am weekday classes this week and have been sleeping a lot. The rest is helping.

I will offer morning classes again starting on Monday, Sept. 19 and see how my energy levels hold up. If needed, I will cancel them again. I'm getting better at listening to what I need! This is my yoga right now!

I have also opted to delay the start of Tuesday 5:30 pm Hatha Yoga Classes until October 4.

Today I updated my noramaskeyyoga.com website as well as my Offering Tree site and they now include more information about my video library membership. This membership is a great way to keep practicing with me when I'm not offering Zoom classes or our schedules don't mesh. The online video library contains all the classes I've recorded in 2022 and I update it each week.

When I am feeling better, I will also be adding "How To", meditation, breath work and practice videos. I take requests! Is there anything you would like me to make a video about?

On the good news side of things, I am blessed to be part of a qualitative research study conducted through the University of Calgary. It is exploring how breath-focused physiotherapy can help people like me who have been struggling with breathlessness, fatigue, post-exertion malaise and other aspects of Long COVID.
