Happy June!

Personal Update

June 1 is my birthday! On Sunday, I received the gift of fulfilling and uplifting conversations with people who are near and dear to me.

I also tuned up my road bike and went for a ride after taking the last couple of years off due to discectomy and fusion surgery on my neck. On Friday, I had a follow-up appointment with my surgeon who said everything is healed and stable and I’m cleared to ride!

Despite cold north winds and rain, my first ride of 2025 felt fabulous! Even though I won’t be winning any cycling jerseys or QOM awards for a while yet, I’m delighted to be back on my bike!

To round out my birthday, I enjoyed a lovely meal with my husband at River Café. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful day!

Theme for June: Well:being

Healthy living and good exercise habits are vital to our wellbeing and, according to research, we can feel better in about five weeks of consistent effort in any area of wellbeing we focus on.

Why not commit to five weeks of morning Pilates classes? How about five weeks of Yoga online or at your local studio? I would love to help you move better and feel better this summer!

June Offerings

I will be leading some fun classes at Wildflower Yoga Collective this month. Join me on June 23 and 30 for Mat Pilates classes at 6:15pm. And on June 19, 26 and July 3, I’m leading Movement Mash Up, a blend of Pilates, Hatha and Restorative Yoga.

I will also have some new yoga and Pilates offerings coming later in June. I will announce them as soon as they are finalized. Stay tuned!

Private Pilates Sessions

For many years I have been supporting people with private yoga and movement sessions. Now I am pleased to also offer one-to-one Pilates Reformer sessions. Private sessions are a great way to explore your movement goals or get set up for group reformer classes. Reach out to me if you would like more information by replying to this email.
