Pop Up Yoga Nov. 34 – Backbends
True to its name, these classes will pop up randomly on Journey Yoga schedule. Follow @noralynnm and @journeyyogawellness on Instagram to find out when the next class will pop up!
Then, register online and show up on the day to explore and play in this class designed for experienced practitioners who are curious to explore basic to intermediate backbends.
Influenced by Anusara Yoga sequencing and alignment, these longer classes are designed to be fun and challenging. Part regular class and part workshop, each class will take you on a journey to a pose or series of poses that we will explore with some detail.
At an 105 minutes each, you will have the time you need to fully prepare for and play with the featured poses.

Nourished by Nature Yoga Retreat
Costa Rica – November 5-11, 2016.
We began each day of our retreat at El Sabanero Eco Lodge with an early morning hike through teak forests. We saw monkeys, vultures, cows and more. The flora and fauna were breathtaking.
After a nourishing breakfast, we shared a morning yoga practice with Peaches the Yoga Cat! In the afternoons we left the retreat centre for our adventures which included zip lining, a boat trip through an estuary as well as beach time.
Most evenings featured a gourmet meal by our chef. Afterwards we would have a relaxing yoga practice – either yoga therapy, restorative or yin – before falling into
bed for the night.
What made this trip so special was the wonderful women who travelled to Costa Rica for this great adventure. After a week of being outdoors most of the time, I returned home truly feeling nourished by nature.
